  WCN: Celebrating 10 Years
Celebrating 10 Years

On October 1st, WCN hosted our 10th Annual Wildlife Conservation Expo. It was our biggest yet, bringing 1,100 guests and 22 of the world’s best conservationists together to the Mission Bay Conference Center in San Francisco. Keynote speaker Dr. Jane Goodall kicked off a day of talks that included elephant expert Dr. Iain Douglas-Hamilton, saiga hero Elena Bykova, and cheetah crusader Rebecca Klein. In addition to our honored speakers, 42 wildlife and environmental organizations from around the world and the local Bay Area participated as exhibitors.

For ten years, the Expo has been the heart of the WCN community. It offers conservationists the chance to talk to donors, volunteers, technology and research experts, and, perhaps most importantly, other conservationists who may be thousands of miles away but are facing the same challenges with the same incredible passion.

If you couldn’t attend, the Expo 2011 presentations are now available for viewing online. Browse below or check our Vimeo page for the latest postings. We hope you'll come to the Expo next year on the first weekend in October. Thank you for joining us in celebrating the successes and looking ahead to the challenges in wildlife conservation.
